A bittersweet day

Today was closing ceremonies for the Center of Japanese Studies. The term has come to an end, and now many of us will be scattering back to all the corners of the world.

Today was the last day that I will be seeing all of my classmates before we all go our separate ways. I know a few who are actually flying out tomorrow morning. The idea of not getting up Monday to see everyone at class hasn't really sunk in yet.

These five months have just gone by like the wind. I enjoyed the time with my IJ300 classmates this semester. We worked our asses off in class, and we were even able to have a good laughs here and there, too. It was fun while it lasted, and I sure hope to see some of my classmates again!

Four days to go. Time to start packing...
