雪！ XD

For a minute there, I thought I was going to miss any trace of winter. I skirted around blizzards as I was driving home back in December, and while there were traces of snow, I only had to drive in it once. Outside of Fairplay. In fog. On a sheet of ice. Yeah. Snow.

Anyways, it started to snow last night. Not infinitely small specks of frozen water, but big, fat, fluffy flakes of snow! I'm sitting here going, "HOLY SHIT, IT'S SNOWING!" It was exciting to see. This morning, I woke up to a good three inches of powder on the ground. By the end of classes today there were snowmen all around campus. And then the clouds broke up, the sun came out, and the wind picked up. It's all going to freeze tonight and become treacherous to walk on in the morning.

Either way, it's acting like winter here in Nagoya!

This dragonish snow creature (it had spines down its back as well as a tail)
appeared in front of the CJS office while we were inside for class. Its eyes are
100 yen coins and it was holding a sign that said "YOUKOSO!" "WELCOME!"
When I walked past it again a couple hours later, someone added flowers to its head.

Making crepes tonight with my roommates! One more day of class, and I've got a good jumpstart on assigmnents that are due after break, making it possible to go out and enjoy myself next week! Let the sightseeing begin! Until tomorrow! ^_^v
